The Optimal 5zon® is ideal for all healthcare environments and is used as an aid in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers up to and including category 2⁽¹⁾, and for pain therapy. It is a soft and flexible mattress replacement that is placed directly on the bed and replaces both the standard mattress and mattress pad.

It has very good pressure redistribution properties⁽²⁾ and is also equipped with the unique DuoCore® sit function. It has been designed to provide support when seated, while also offering good comfort in lying position.
